We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to perform commercial HVAC sheet metal fabrication assembly installation and repair. The ideal candidate can read blueprints operate fabrication equipment work independently and with a team and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints sketches and specifications.
Measure lay out cut bend and form sheet metal components.
Operate fabrication equipment including shears brakes presses and forming rolls.
Install maintain and repair commercial HVAC sheet metal systems.
Train and assist apprentices with on-the-job development.
Coordinate with supervisors crew members and other trades.
Follow safety procedures use required PPE and maintain current licenses and certifications.
Maintain professional customer interactions and a clean organized work area.
Connecticut Sheet Metal 2 License required.
Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
Valid drivers license.
Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to stand walk climb ladders and stairs bend kneel crouch crawl and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally lift 51100 lbs. and rarely lift over 100 lbs.
Pay: $40$45 per hour
