As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Thursday-Sunday in Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for travelers visitors and staff. • Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors tenants and airport personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of terminal areas parking facilities perimeter locations and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points restricted areas and credential requirements in accordance with established airport and government facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Assist with traffic parking and passenger flow concerns while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
