Avionic Technician - Sikorsky UH-60 Helicopters

Location: Lakehurst, NJ

Type of Position: 6 month contract to hire, union once direct

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay: Non-local Candidates while on contract: $45/hr ($25/$20 split) ($25/hr plus $160 a day per diem for 5 days).

Local candidates while on contract: $40-$42/hr DOE

Once you go direct with the company, you will make $53.95 hour.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Avionic Technician to join our team, focusing on installations and repairs for Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters. This role requires a dedicated professional who can bring expertise in avionics systems to our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations on Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters.
• Troubleshoot and repair helicopter avionics systems.
• Conduct modifications and electrical systems work.
• Utilize experience with UH-60, SH-60, CH-53, or similar helicopter models.
• Ensure all tools are etched and shadowed for accountability.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of Sikorsky Avionics experience on aircraft.
• Military experience relevant to avionics.
• Proficiency in helicopter avionics systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to secure and maintain a secret security clearance.
• Experience with avionics installation and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft models such as CH-47, CH-53, and Sikorsky.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin systems.
• Tools must be etched and shadowed.
• Steel toe boots are required.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled hangar with a supportive team. The position requires a professional attire of a T-shirt, work pants, and steel toe boots. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, providing stability and potential for career advancement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakehurst, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lakehurst,NJ.
