Job Description

The Jones Family of Dealerships is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Office Assistant team member. This position plays an important role in supporting daily dealership operations through document management, office administration, supply ordering, and receptionist coverage when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scan, organize, and electronically file dealership documents.
• Order and maintain office and dealership supplies.
• Provide receptionist coverage as needed, including Fridays and Saturdays when regular receptionists are off.
• Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
• Process customer payments, including cash, credit card, and other transactions.
• Accurately balance and cash out transactions.
• Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, record maintenance, and mail distribution.
• Assist various departments with administrative support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, receptionist, office assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers, scanners, and basic office software.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
