Job Description

Who We Are

At Rhone, we cultivate a work culture that is empowering and rooted in our core values. We are gritty, approaching challenges with resilience and determination. We are responsible, holding ourselves accountable to each other and the work we do. We strive for excellence, pushing boundaries to deliver our best every day. We remain authentic, embracing honesty, humility, and individuality. And above all, we are team centered, knowing that true success comes from collaboration and shared purpose.

About The Role

Rhone is seeking an in-house, part-time Missy Fit Model to join our Technical Design team three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Fit is at the heart of how our customers experience Rhone — and this role is where it starts. Working closely with our design, technical and sales teams, you’ll try on garments throughout development and share how each piece fits, moves and feels, helping us refine comfort, drape and appearance across our women’s collections. This is a hands-on opportunity to take part in our design and development process and to shape the products our customers wear every day, from training to recovery and everything in between.

What You'll Do

  • Try on a broad range of garments — including form-fitting performance styles — for our design, technical and sales teams to assess and improve fit, drape and visual appearance

  • Share clear, constructive feedback on the fit, movement and feel of each garment, and how it aligns with Rhone’s style and product intent

  • Move through a range of positions and activity-based motions during fittings so the team can evaluate garments in real-world wear

  • Participate in regular fitting sessions with the Technical Design team, and support showroom meetings with sales and buyers

  • Be photographed during fittings to support fit documentation and communication with our vendor partners

  • Maintain consistent body measurements season to season, giving the team a reliable reference for our Small (4/6) base size

  • Travel with the team on development trips (typically twice a year, for up to two weeks at a time) to support fittings with our vendor partners

  • Outside of fittings, support the team with product administration tasks — including, but not limited to, measuring garments, cataloging samples, and receiving and sending shipments

  • Maintain a professional approach and respect the confidentiality of designs and upcoming collections

What You'll Bring

  • Prior fit modeling experience is a plus, but not required

  • A strong communicator — able to give constructive, tactful and positive feedback

  • Comfortable trying on a wide variety of clothing, including athletic, close-fitting garments, in front of the team

  • Comfortable being photographed during fittings

  • Able to maintain consistent measurements over time

  • Able to stand for extended periods

  • Reliable availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at our Stamford, CT office

  • Able to travel for development trips twice a year, for up to two weeks at a time

  • Professional, punctual and respectful of confidential information

Fit Specifications

To ensure the best fit for our garments, we are seeking a candidate with measurements close to the following:

  • Size: Small (4/6)
  • Height: 5'8"
  • Waist: 28"
  • Bra Size: 34B
  • Bust: 35"
  • Low Hip: 38"

Please submit photos in form-fitting clothing (e.g., leggings and a tank) — front, side and back views

What You'll Get

  • Clothing discount
