$20 to $23 per hour plus tips and product commission

Earn great tips cutting hair not spending your day trying to fill your book. The clientele is already here and the weekends are already busy so you spend your shift in the chair instead of chasing bookings.
A strong advantage: Sunday and weekday-afternoon availability experience with childrens hair and a high-volume cutting background where you built real speed.
You are paid $20 to $23 per hour depending on experience. On top of that you keep all of your tips which run around $10 a service and you earn 10 percent commission on product you sell. At the top of that range our busiest stylists often clear $40 or more an hour including tips on a full weekend book.
Saturday and Sunday run 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Every Saturday is ideal and most Saturdays works so tell us what you can commit to. Friday runs 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday Wednesday and Thursday afternoons run 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM so there is room to build a fuller week if you want one. No late nights ever.
Also included: specialized training for working with kids paid sick time an employee store discount a flexible schedule and real room to grow into senior and lead roles.
Sit Still Kids Salon in Park Slope is a busy family-focused salon with a loyal client base and steady appointment volume built for kids of all abilities. We move quickly but you will never feel like you are pushing clients through a chair. Required Skills:
Active New York State cosmetology license required. Two or more years of professional haircutting experience confident with clipper cuts and fades. Saturday availability 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM is the priority for this role. Required Education:
Active New York State cosmetology license. No degree required. Out-of-state cosmetology and barber licenses do not qualify as New York generally requires its own written and practical examinations before you can work here.
