Our client, a growing venture-backed Healthcare startup, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of product development, from ideation through to delivery, playing a key role in shaping both the user experience and technical roadmap while utilizing modern AI-powered tools to accelerate innovation and development.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of product features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment.
Partner with stakeholders to shape product ideas, define requirements and create detailed specifications.
Build and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
Deliver intuitive, visually polished user experiences with meticulous attention to design and usability.
Develop robust full-stack solutions using modern frameworks, tools and technologies.
Utilize AI-driven development tools to accelerate delivery, enhance productivity and improve software quality.
Support the advancement of internal AI capabilities, systems and engineering workflows.
Contribute to technical standards, engineering processes and best practices within a fast-paced startup environment.
Skillset
At least 3 years of commercial experience in full-stack software engineering.
Previous experience working within product-driven or engineering-focused organizations.
Strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript and Node.js.
Demonstrated ability to take products and features from initial concept through to successful production release.
A strong product mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
Experience working with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend frameworks and technologies is an advantage.
An interest in healthcare technology, preventative health, wellness, or personal health optimization
Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environments is a plus.
