The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) is looking for a Data Organizer to join our growing organizing department, to be filled as soon as possible. AAUP is a fast-growing union of higher education workers. We are mobilizing the higher ed sector against increasing partisan attacks that undermine academic freedom and attacks on important gains of the civil rights movement. Our goal is to defend the higher ed sector while also leading the fight for fair wages, job security, academic freedom, an end to student debt, and expanded collective bargaining rights for higher education workers. AAUP is looking for an individual who will help transform the Association into an organized, fighting union.
The data organizer will help staff across different new union and contract campaigns to create systems and processes of data collection and analysis. The data organizer will also work with field staff. This position requires occasional travel throughout the United States and reports to the Director of Organizing and Services.

Compensation
Salary range: $75,543.55 to $85,074.31. AAUP offers a generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; paid sick days; paid vacations days; and 401(K).
Position Classification
This is a full-time Associate position included in the staff union bargaining unit. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Work Location
This position is remote and does not require relocation. However, there will be some travel to AAUP national events and possibly some travel to campaigns.
