As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time TCO Thursday/Friday in Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Requirements:

• 18 Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check drug screen and physical exam

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to airport visitors passengers employees and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas parking facilities access points perimeter areas and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as required and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate with airport operations law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity incident and shift reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
