As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Morning Shiftsin Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors tenants and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals public areas parking facilities roadways perimeter locations and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity unattended property hazards unauthorized access and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established airport and government location procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs incident reports and patrol documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and authorized site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
