As an Airport Security Guard: Overnight Shifts in Kailua Kona HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. • Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and airport partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals public areas parking facilities perimeter locations and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points restricted areas and airport operations areas in accordance with site procedures reporting unauthorized access suspicious activity hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with airport operations law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports maintain required activity logs and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
